Rev. Dr. Reginald D. Jones
Pastor Jones is a passionate, motivated, and servant-hearted leader. He is dedicated to not only teaching the truth of God's Word, but also investing in each individual who calls Sharon Baptist Church home. Pastor Jones was called to lead our Church in November of 2001. Since then, he has led our church through a transition towards a more contemporary style while still valuing sound doctrine and our churches 202-year history.
Pastor Jones hopes that every life is truly transformed by the power of God, and he takes his position in that process seriously. He has led our church through numerous changes and improvements, both physically on campus and spiritually within our ministry.
Sharon Baptist Church has thrived through God's use of him, and he is eager to see what God has in store for our church in the coming years.
Reginald D. Jones has a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University, a Master of Health and Science Degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from South Carolina State University. Prior to his call to ministry, Pastor Jones spent a career in the corporate sector and he still utilizes the skills he developed in that time within the leadership of our church.
